Request Summer Proctored Exams
All proctored exams for a course may be REQUESTED at the beginning of the course if you have a proctor who is able and agrees to hold untaken exams for a semester. Please note, requesting exams so they're ready for you to take is not the same as taking exams; you should submit all course work preceding an exam before you actually take it.

Request exams/Submit a proctor nomination in My DDP (not WebCT, even if the course is delivered in WebCT). Log in to My DDP with your WSU Network ID and password, and select "Current Courses." In the list of courses, select "view" in the "Course Work" column for the course for which you need a proctored exam. Select "Request" in the "Exam Sent" column for the appropriate exam, complete the Proctor Nomination/Exam Request, and select "Submit Exam Request."

When requesting exams, please be aware of the following:

  • You may use the "Comments" box to include the proctor’s fax number or other information.
  • The word "Request" is replaced first by the date you submit the request (shown in red) and then by the date the exam is sent to the proctor (shown in blue and linked to the proctor information). Exams are usually processed within two working days.
  • If you need exams sent to a proctor quickly, select the Federal Express option; FedEx charges are posted to your student account.

Please make sure you understand all your options as you begin your courses and make plans with your proctor ahead of time, especially if expedited delivery of completed exams might be necessary:

Coming DDP Changes—With Revisions
>> Review . . .
Take Note: Use the "Review" link for information about changes related to Cougar Cards and the CCP policy (see also "Course Completion Policy & Registration Holds" above). The media late return fee information is repeated below:

Media Late Return Fees—Revised Schedule (see NOTE below): Rental media late return fees and deadlines are being restructured. Under the new policy, there will be three deadlines for returning rental media: the first will be four weeks after the end of the original rental period and the last two will follow at three week intervals. Students not returning rental items by the end-of-rental-period deadline, or before the next two deadlines, will be charged a rental media late return fee after each missed deadline equal to one-third of twice the original rental fee.

Rental Media Late Return Fee Schedule
Original Rental Fee$30 $60 $90
Total Possible Late Fees$60 $120 $180
Late fee if not returned by first return deadline
(4 weeks after the end of the semester)
e.g., Fall 2007 rental returns 1st deadline: January 11, 2008
$20 $40 $60
Late fee if not returned by second return deadline
(7 weeks after the end of the semester)
e.g., Fall 2007 rental returns 2nd deadline: February 1, 2008
$20 $40 $60
Late fee if not returned by third & final return deadline
(10 weeks after the end of the semester)
e.g., Fall 2007 rental returns 3rd deadline: February 22, 2008
$20 $40 $60

NOTE: The three deadline dates published in the example in the spring newsletter and March Update (August 31, September 21, and October 12) are slightly different than they would be using the revised schedule shown above. The summer deadline dates published will be honored for summer returns.
