Bookie Reminders for Students Taking DDP Courses
Ordering textbooks from the Bookie for DDP courses is not the same as purchasing texts for on-campus courses. Remember the following when ordering DDP texts:
- Order Early: Order your DDP textbooks as soon as possible BEFORE classes begin! Most textbook problems occur when students order their texts on or after the beginning of the new semester; you need to allow plenty of time for arrival of materials or for corrections to be made in the event of an error.
- Choose DDP Options ONLY: If you are ordering from the online Bookie Web site (Bookie), be sure to use only "DDP/ICN" links and select "07 DDP Spring " on the order page. If you choose another listing, you risk ordering incorrect texts; most DDP courses have different texts than are used in the on-campus sections of the courses.
- Order Correct Texts: The WSU Bookie in Pullman has dedicated a department to DDP textbooks and stocks current texts, however, if you choose to order from a source other than the Pullman Bookie DDP department, be sure to use the ISBN as your guide for selection (see text ISBNs in the current course information box "Course materials"/"Details," which you can access for each DDP course using the "more information" link in the DDP course catalog or the online Schedule of Classes). Some texts and text packages are available only from the Bookie and texts may change from one semester to the next.

ASWSU-DDP News
- Meet Your 2006-2007 DDP Student Government Representatives!
From the President: Two ASWSU-DDP senators are graduating in December, and I would like to take a moment to congratulate them and thank them for their dedication to being student representatives. Teresa Mendenhall has done an exceptional job while serving as secretary as well as being the chairperson of the Events Planning and Student Resources Committees. Sarah Thai also will be graduating and served on the Student Resources and Events Planning Committees, as well as the Technology Committee. Both Teresa and Sarah have contributed greatly to furthering programs for DDP students. Please join me in wishing our fellow Cougs the best of luck in their future endeavors.
If you are interested in following in Theresa or Sarah's footsteps and filling one of the vacancies created by their graduation, please contact me or any of the other current student government representatives listed above.
